Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Tempo (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including administrators, managers, and workers.
2. Description of service
Tempo is a web-based time-tracking platform that enables organisations to manage worker clock-ins, clock-outs, GPS-based attendance, timesheets, and payroll exports. The Service is provided as-is, free of charge, at tempo.li.
3. Accounts & responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials and worker PINs secure.
- Organisation administrators are responsible for all activity within their organisation account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an administrator account.
- One person or legal entity may create multiple organisation accounts.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other organisations' data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service.
- Use the Service to track individuals without their knowledge or consent.
- Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content.
5. Data & privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You retain ownership of all data you input into Tempo. We do not claim any rights over your timesheet data.
6. Worker consent
If you add workers to your organisation, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from those workers for the collection of their attendance, location, and timesheet data as required by applicable employment and data-protection law.
7. Availability & modifications
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will endeavour to provide at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing the Service entirely.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that data will never be lost. You should maintain your own backups of critical timesheet data.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tempo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost profits or data loss.
10. Termination
You may delete your organisation account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
